Marwan Juma is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Kinz for Information Technology, the country’s leading corporate data provider, and dot.jo, one of Jordan’s top web application providers. Juma also served as the country’s Minister of Information of Communications and Information Technology from Dec 2009 till Feb 2011. Prior to his government service, Juma was the Chief Executive Officer of Xpress Telecommunications, one of Jordan’s leading mobile operators. Prior to his tenure at Xpress, Juma was the Chief Executive Officer of Batelco Jordan, the country’s second fixed line operator and a leading data communication provider.
Today Juma chairs Oasis500, the region’s leading IT fund and accelerator, as well Urdon Shop, specializing in the promotion of local heritage products. In addition Juma serves on several boards including King Abdullah II Fund for Development, King Abdullah II Center for Excellence, the Jordan Education Initiative, JEI, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, the recently established public broadcast TV station, Capital Investments and Jordan International Insurance. In addition, Juma serves on the board of DAI, a US firm working in the global development arena.
Holder of a Masters in Management from North Carolina State University, and two Bachelor degrees in Business Management and Economics from the same school. Upon completing his studies, Juma joined Ideal Group, (the Apple Computer and Compaq distributor in Jordan), and moved up the ranks to become Vice President. In 1995, he took over as the General Manager of NETS, Jordan’s first email and second Internet Service Provider. Six years later, NETS, and a second data provider, Firstnet, and Bahrain Telecom, a regional leading telecom provider completed the first IT merger in Jordan and formed Batelco Jordan.

Suzanne Afanah is a former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, a communications
professional and award winning journalist, with well over 25 years of experience as a
senior executive in media, television and mass communications. During her 12 years at
television, Afanah assumed different posts including producer, political correspondent,
anchorwoman and Chief Editor at Jordan Television, and at major networks including
Middle East Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and Cable News Network (CNN).
As a contributor to CNN’s Emmy Award winning show “The World Report” Afanah
won the “Best Political Story Award 2000”. Afanah also served as Managing Director of
Jordan’s Satellite Channel and later as Vice Chairman of Jordan Radio and Television
Appointed by Her Majesty Queen Rania to the executive committee of the Arab
Women’s Summit, Afanah led efforts to create the Arab Media Network and launched an
award-winning media campaign to empower Arab women broadcast to nearly 100
million viewers, winning the MENA Crystal award.
Moving to a corporate career, Afanah lead communications, branding, and social
responsibility at Zain one of the leading telecommunication providers in the Middle East
and Africa and one the top five brands in the region.
She joined government in 2010 assuming the portfolio of Minister of Tourism and
Antiquities. She is currently the managing partner at Advvise, one of the leading strategic
communications and Public Relations agencies in Jordan.
She also serves on the boards of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, the Jordan Media
Institute, Jordan River Foundation, the Center for Defending the Freedom of Journalists,
the International Women’s Forum and The Children’s Museum and the Jordan Radio and
Caroline Faraj, VP Arabic Services, joined CNN in 2001. Since then she has overseen the content and management of the CNN Arabic site, which she launched in 2002. In 2014 she led the site's comprehensive re-launch to embrace rapidly evolving consumer
Based in Dubai, she has overseen CNNArabic during a time of great regional upheaval, over a period which has encompassed the US-led invasion of Iraq, the Arab spring and the rise of lslamist militant group ISIS.
Before joining CNN, Faraj's previous roles included senior political reporter for AI Rai the leading Arabic daily newspaper in Jordan, managing editor for English-language newspaper the Jordan Times and regional correspondent for the US Defense News. She has also held positions in London for Dubai TV and in Jordan for Bahrain TV. She also conceived and hosted Jordan's first morning television talk show Youm Jadid.
Faraj was born in Amman, Jordan. She has a bachelor of arts in Journalism and Mass Communications - radio and television from Yarmouk University in Jordan and a master of arts in International Journalism from City University in London. Faraj is fluent in both Arabic and English.

He also served as the Marketing and Operations Manager for the Microsoft subsidiary in Jordan, and before that as a Technology Strategist in both Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Anabtawi holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Jordan, and received executive education from INSEAD and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to holding this position, he was the general manager of WTV, which was acquired by Sayegh Group in 2009 and re-launched on January 1st, 2011 as Roya TV satellite channel. Between 2005 and 2011, Fares served in executive roles at the industrial sector, including owner representative, general manager, shareholder of National Paints in Romania, and the general manager of the Canning Industries in Jordan. Fares is also a board member in the following: Sayegh Group, Top Steering, Startup NOW, and Taoseal Taxi. He is also on the board of trustees of INJAZ, an honorary board member of the Jordanian National Orchestra Association, and a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Jordan Chapter. In 2004, Fares earned a Bachelor of Science degree in System Industrial Engineering from Ohio State University. Bani Mustafa served as an elected Member of Jordanian Parliament for three subsequent terms (2010- 2017), Bani Mustafa was the youngest elected MP in 2010, and won her second Parliamentary seat outside of the reserved woman’s quota seat. Throughout her career, Bani Mustafa has launched and served on committees to propel women rights in Jordan and the broader Middle East. Aside from tackling women empowerment, Bani Mustafa has expanded to work regionally and globally on human rights issues in general and youth in particular. For her work in advocating human rights, Bani Mustafa stands an example for women initiative in Jordan. Nancy Fakhoury is a young social media specialist who is currently working as a consultant for twitter in Lebanon. Mohammad Hawari has joined the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, in 2014 working within its Jordan operation in charge of public information, communication, content creation, management of the UNHCR social media portal and as an official spokesperson.
Prior to that, he has worked for 17 years in the media field as a television reporter and a writer for several international media agencies. His first mission was during the Second Chechen War in 1998 and 1999. He continued to work in several of the world's most troubled regions culminating with the beginning of the Yemen crisis.
Working in UNHCR Mohammad has transformed his interest in the field of journalism into a specialist in communication within the humanitarian context using social media to deliver the voices of refugees to the world.
He has a Master's degree from Canada in Television Journalism, and speaks three languages other than Arabic, English, Russian and Turkish.
